Patti Spadaro began playing guitar at age 11, performing at 14 and went to her first Grateful Dead show at 17. She moved from PA to Los Angeles in her 20s and attended Musician’s Institute, studying guitar with world renown players, and honing her bluesy, jam-band style and her rhythm & lead guitar chops. Living in California with family in PA, Patti drew inspiration from Grateful Dead concerts on both coasts.
Patti recorded & released 3 albums in LA, toured the western US extensively and received plenty of radio airplay. Her band The Zookeepers was named one of LA’s top bands by KTLA-TV and performed on “Good Day LA” and other TV shows. Relix Magazine deemed Patti’s guitar work “shimmering”
Patti returned to PA, focusing on songwriting and releasing her album “Bringing Me Back” with The Patti Spadaro Band. The album features Brown Eyed Women’s own Jill Simmons on backing vocals. Patti’s recent single “Glass Shatters” also features Jill, hit #95 on iTunes UK charts and won an International Film Festival award for “Best Music Video”.
Patti loves to stretch out during live shows, bring people together, and reach for musical magic. She shared the stage with members of Dark Star Orchestra & Rusted Root, and has opened for Little Feat, Eddie Van Halen, and Melvin Seals & JGB.
